If you are a Pakistani citizen and want an e-visa to go to this guide will help you.
Albania is a great option for those with a fresh passport and no travel history. The entire process is online, so you don’t need an agent to apply for an e-visa.
One more good news: applying for an Albanian e-visa doesn’t affect your passport. The visa approval rate is around 70%, with a 30% rejection rate based on experience. There are two embassies that control Albanian visas: one in Cairo and the other in Egypt.
My guide makes the process easy by providing step-by-step help for obtaining your Albanian e-visa. In this article, I will tell you the necessary documents to help with the online application and preparing for your arrival. I tried to cover everything. Let's start!
How Much Money Will You Need?
E-Visa Fee:
In case of the Pakistani citizens, the e-visa fee generally tag between 20,000 PKR to 40,000 PKR. This fee, you will be required to pay it online, presumably by a credit or a debit card.
Travel Insurance:
Albanian immigration said it was highly recommended. It’s travel insurance that will cost you about Rs 15,000 to Rs 28,000, which will protect you from extra expenses in the form of medical emergencies, trip cancellations or lost baggage.
Documents needed for Application of E-Visa
Before starting your application, prepare the following documents:
Passport:
Bio data scan (with your picture and personal details) of whatever you can do. And your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.
Recent Passport-Size Photo:
To appear in a passport photo, take a photo with a camera clearly meeting passport standards (plain white background, neutral expression, etc.).
Travel Plan:
To book a flight, you require confirmation of the booking, or, for travel cause, with dates and places in Albania.
Proof of Accommodation:
If you’re staying with a friend or relative, you probably have an invitation letter or the ability to book your hotel. Remember, it is necessary.
Proof of Funds (if required):
Last three bank statements, or salary slips or sponsor letter proving you have enough funds to be able to stay in Albania.
Invitation Letter (if required):
If you’re living with an Albanian citizen or resident, include your invitation letter.

- Online Applications Only: Submit your application online, pay the visa fee and make sure you’re outside of Albania.
- No Unnecessary Contact: During the application process do not contact Albanian authorities unless, of course, the embassy or consulate contacts you.
- Processing Time: It takes at least 15 working days and can take up to 30 days for special cases.
- Payment Deadline: If you don’t pay your visa fee within 15 days, your application will be marked as "Not Paid" and will be rejected automatically.
- Dual Citizenship: The passport you have is from the country you registered to travel and passport that you use is your nationality. If the documents are mismatched then the e-Visa will not be valid.
- Document Language: All documents must be uploaded in Albanian or English.
- Document Scans: Like, make sure all the uploaded documentation is clean, does not contain any black portions nor dark lettering.
